I would need to know a couple of more things to give a precise answer. So let’s assume first of all that you had insurance but didn’t have your card with you. If you bring the card to court they will drop the ticket. 

Let’s assume you didn’t have insurance at the time. Go get insurance before your court date and bring proof of it. Ask them for supervision and you will probably get it. That will avoid your drivers license being suspended for one year. If you don’t bring proof...
